Clear Read-Only is a simple but handy application that allows you to clear the Read-Only file attribute, which prevents you from modifying any part of it. The program features a compact and intuitive user interface which can be used by anyone with any experience at all. To make use of it you just have to select the folder which contains the files that you want to clear, select if you wish to include sub folders and or the options Apply to Files and Apply to folders, and press START. The process takes a few seconds and can be stopped whenever you want. It obviously takes more time when you include a large amount of files. As you can see, that's all the program does, it has no other additional functions or options, and it's completely free of charge. All in all, if you are looking for a simple tool for disabling Read-Only attribute in files, Clear Read-Only does a good work, so I recommend you to try it and see that for yourself.
